About Jeff Hensley
35+ Years Fighting for Northeast Kentucky Families — In Courtrooms, Not Boardrooms.
Experience That Makes a Difference
With over 35 years experience in this area, Jeff Hensley has made a real difference for Northeast Kentucky.
Born Here. Educated Here. Fighting for You Here Since 1987.
Jeff Hensley was born and raised in the Greenup and Boyd County area — the same communities he has spent his entire career serving. He attended Russell High School, played college baseball, and earned his law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. He has been practicing in northeast Kentucky courts since 1987.
What sets Hensley Law Office, P.S.C. apart is not the size of the firm — it’s the depth of the relationships. Jeff is in court weekly, sometimes daily. He knows the judges, the tendencies of opposing counsel, and the specific procedures of every courtroom he walks into. When you hire Jeff Hensley, you get Jeff Hensley — not a first-year associate, not a paralegal, and not a case number.
Over the past 35+ years, Jeff has built a practice rooted in personal accountability and direct client relationships. He has argued cases in Boyd, Greenup, Carter, Lawrence, Lewis, Rowan, and Fayette counties — as well as in workers compensation and Social Security administrative hearings across the state. His firm has secured six-figure verdicts and settlements for clients across multiple practice areas and multiple counties.
Jeff is supported by two paralegals with a combined 50 years of experience at the firm — both of whom are known throughout the region for their knowledge, care, and dedication to clients. One holds a real estate license alongside Jeff, adding yet another layer of service available to Hensley Law clients.
Outside the office, Jeff remains active in the community — coaching youth baseball and basketball, maintaining his involvement with Bridges Christian Church, and staying connected to the people and places that make northeast Kentucky home.
